Does it cost anything to use Campus Galleries?
No. Students never pay us. Landlords pay us when we fill a room. If anyone asks you for a fee in our name, it isn't us. Please tell us on WhatsApp.
Who do I pay rent and the deposit to?
The landlord, after you've viewed the room and read the lease. We don't handle rent or deposits.
Why isn't the full address on the listing?
To protect the landlord and the people living there. We send the exact address on WhatsApp on the day of your viewing.
How do viewings work?
Pick a room and a time on the viewing page. We confirm on WhatsApp. If no time suits you, message us and we'll arrange one.
Are the rooms NSFAS-accredited?
Some are. Each listing says whether it is, and you can filter for accredited rooms on the rooms page.
A room I like is full. What now?
Some full rooms have space next year, and they're marked that way. Create a profile with your move-in date and we'll let you know when it, or something like it, opens.
I'm working, not studying. Can I rent?
Some of our landlords rent to young professionals, and those rooms are marked. Create a profile as a young professional and tell us where you work. The landlord does their own checks before you sign.
Why do you need my student email?
It keeps every student profile real, so landlords take them seriously. We don't contact your university.
Who sees my profile?
Only a landlord with a room that matches what you need, and only if you agreed when you signed up. Read our privacy notice for the details.
How do I delete my profile?
Send us a WhatsApp on 079 320 9306 and we'll delete it.
