Privacy notice
How Campus Galleries collects and uses your personal information, under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
When you create a profile: your name, email, WhatsApp number, student number and year of study (students) or where you work (young professionals), your campus, budget, room type, funding, previous accommodation and move-in date. When you book a viewing: your name, phone number, email and any note you add. When you leave a review: your email, name, rating and review.
Why we collect it
To match you with rooms, to contact you about rooms and viewings, to arrange viewings, and to publish reviews. We only use your information for these purposes.
Who we share it with
We share your profile with a landlord only when they have a room that matches what you need, and only if you agreed to this when you signed up. We never sell your information. We use Google Forms and Google Sheets to store submissions, and Google Analytics to count visits to the site.
How long we keep it
We keep your profile while you're looking for a room and delete it when you ask us to, or when it's no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, ask who it's been shared with, and withdraw your consent at any time. Send us a WhatsApp on 079 320 9306.
