Under 18? Moving out for studies

Lots of students start university or college at 17. Here's how Campus Galleries works for you, and what your parent or guardian should know.

For students

• When you create your profile, choose "16 or 17" and add your parent or guardian's name, email and WhatsApp.
• We email them a link. Your profile goes live as soon as they agree, usually the same day.
• Landlords see that you're under 18. When you accept an offer, your parent or guardian gets the landlord's details too.

For parents and guardians

• Landlords on Campus Galleries are verified before they can see students.
• Go to the viewing with your child, and read the lease together. A lease with someone under 18 needs your assistance.
• Never pay a deposit before viewing and signing a written lease.
• You can ask us to pause or delete your child's profile at any time with the "Message us" button.
